Importers of green coffee of Venezuelan and Colombian origin

What is the essence of our coffees?

We bring to the world unique coffees, true gourmet treasures born in the fertile lands of Venezuela and Colombia, where each bean tells a story of quality and tradition.

We work with single origin coffees

As importers we look for coffees from Venezuela and Colombia that convey unique experiences. We travel to the origin, connect with coffee growers and work with those who love their work and seek to constantly improve.

Social and environmental responsibility

We want to create a positive footprint, both for the farmer and the environment. We encourage fair trade with coffee farmers to raise their incomes and have a positive impact on their communities.

Committed and passionate roasters

We collaborate with committed roasters who appreciate the origin of coffee, its traceability, and who are interested in the history of their farmers, their evolution and learning processes. Together we focus on highlighting its quality, ensuring that each cup provides a unique experience that invites you to enjoy it.

Our Principles

01

Travelling to the origin in search of the best specialty coffee

We have close personal ties with the coffee growers. This also allows us to learn about the processes they apply and the impact they have on the environment, explaining to them that this is very important today, both for the end consumer and for the planet. The more they take care of their entire process, the better economic benefits they can achieve.

02

Ensuring traceability

We offer the certainty of correct traceability of the coffee we sell, documenting: (1) the production system used, (2) its quality and properties, and (3) its origin. To this end, we have implemented a system that allows us to establish an exhaustive control of the entire production process right up to its final transport. We want the consumer to have an unquestionable identification of the coffee we supply.

03

Providing comprehensive quality control

To provide quality coffee, we rely on an excellent laboratory and Q Graders that follow the protocols and standards created by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCA). Without these analyses we do not proceed to validate the coffee we offer.

04

Promoting transparency

Firstly, our transparency implies a commitment to consumers about the origin of the coffee and the whole process, and secondly, we commit to coffee farmers to be transparent and open about market prices and our expenses. This is out of respect for the consumer and for the work that coffee farmers do.

05

To raise awareness of value-added coffees

This is our raison d’être, to introduce coffee lovers to new treasures. We want to bring coffees that surprise, so we collaborate with coffee growers who experiment with different processes and innovative fermentations.

Our Methodology

01

We identify the best coffee suppliers

Behind a cup of coffee there is a long chain that starts with the coffee grower. We travel around Venezuela and Colombia to find coffee growers who are committed, eager to learn, and who put their hearts into every stage of the process.

02

We take samples and make assessments

The producer is the heart and soul of the whole chain. But as a serious and responsible company, we do not neglect the technical side. We take coffee samples, carry out tastings and evaluations with our trusted Q Graders before selecting a coffee and proposing it to the roasters.

03

We negotiate the terms of purchase

The commercial side is an important point for any importer. We try to balance the best benefit for both the coffee grower and the other actors in the chain. This also involves studying market prices, actual delivery times, shipping methods, among other aspects.

04

We organise import logistics

Coordinating logistics is crucial. This includes choosing a transport company, ensuring that import and customs requirements are met, as well as coordinating the storage and delivery of the coffee beans.

05

We ensure regulatory compliance

We are very strict in complying with the import requirements and regulations of the destination country. We have a team that supervises in detail the quality inspections, payment of duties, taxes and other customs formalities.

06

We have a careful distribution strategy

We develop the distribution strategy with our partners and roasters according to their requirements and needs.
